１１月１４日、台湾行政院農業委員会水産試験所関係者らが長崎大学を訪問し、調印式が行われました。
片峰学長と陳君如所長が学術交流協定の有効期限延長合意書に署名し、学術交流協定を更新しました。

The delegation of the Fisheries Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, led by its Director General June-Ru Chen, visited Nagasaki University on November 14 to participate in a signing ceremony of the extension of the Agreement on Academic Cooperation.

１１月９日、サンラザロ病院（フィリピン共和国）のウィンストン・ゴー院長、ヴァージニア・ディマピリス同教育部門長、アレクス・ディマピリス同救急部門長及びフェルディナンド・ラザロ同看護部長が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰学長、有吉紅也熱帯医学・グローバルヘルス研究科教授及び齊藤信夫同研究科戦略職員と懇談をしました。

Dr. Winston Go, Director of the San Lazaro Hospital (Philippines), Dr. Virginia Dimapilis, Director of Education, Dr. Alexis Dimapilis, Director of Emergency Care, and Ferdinand Lazaro, Chief Nurse, visited Nagasaki University on November 9 to meet with President Shigeru Katamine, Prof. Koya Ariyoshi, and Mr. Nobuo Saito.

8月2日、マセノ大学（ケニア共和国）のジュリアス・オモンディ・ニャブンディ学長が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰学長、清水康博工学研究科長、夛田彰秀同研究科教授、板山朋聡同研究科教授、萩原篤志水産・環境科学総合研究科長、松下吉樹同研究科副研究科長と懇談をしました。

Prof. Julius Omondi Nyabundi (President of Maseno University, Kenya) visited Nagasaki University on August 2 to meet with President Shigeru Katamine, Prof. Yasuhiro Shimizu (Dean, Graduate School of Engineering), Prof. Akihide Tada, Prof. Tomoaki Itayama, Prof. Atsushi Hagiwara (Dean, Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental Science) and Prof. Yoshiki Matsushita (Vice Dean, Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental Science).

７月１１日、モンス大学（ベルギー）のAlain Vande Wouwer国際担当副学長が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰茂学長及び中村則弘多文化社会学部長らと懇談をしました。

７月１５日、福建医科大学（中華人民共和国）の周瑞祥副校長、黄永権研究生院副院長、張敏堅学生工作処副処長、及び林玉芝校長弁公室副主任が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰茂教授、下川功医歯薬学総合研究科長、小路武彦同研究科教授、青柳潔同研究科教授らと懇談をしました。

７月１５日、アハメド・マグディ・イブラヒム・アブドゥルハメッド・エルゴハリー　エジプト日本科学技術大学学長が長崎大学を訪問し、本学と学術交流協定を締結しました。

Prof. Ahmed Magdy Ibrahim Abdelhamed Elgohary, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, visited Nagasaki University on July 15 to conclude the Agreement on Academic Exchange between the two universities.

７月１４日、李百練ノースカロライナ州立大学副学長が長崎大学を訪問し、本学と学術交流協定を締結しました。

６月１６日、パテイン大学（ミャンマー）のニュン・フェイ学長らが長崎大学を訪問し、本学と学術交流協定及び同協定に基づく学生交流の覚書を締結しました。

Dr. Nyunt Phay, Rector of Pathein University, Myanmar, visited Nagasaki University on June 16 to conclude the Agreement on Academic Cooperation and the MOU on Student Exchange between the two universities.

５月２３日、カリフォルニア大学バークレイ校のリンダ・ジュエル教授及び大学院生４名が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰茂学長、山下樹三裕環境科学部長、五島聖子教授、杉山和一教授と懇談しました。

Prof. Linda Jewell and four graduate students of University of California, Berkeley, visited Nagasaki University on May 23 to meet with President Shigeru Katamine, Prof. Kimihiro Yamashita (Dean of Faculty of Environmental Science), Prof. Seiko Goto and Prof. Kazuichi Sugiyama.

３月１５日、東北師範大学（中華人民共和国）の韓東育副校長と劉丹国際交流課長が長崎大学を訪問し、片峰茂学長及び萩原篤志教授らと懇談しました。
