特別研究学生のみ受け入れる。
出願に際し、研究指導を希望する教員の受入の承諾を必要とするが、承諾を得るにあたっては事前に教育学研究科担当事務に問い合わせること。
英語による研究指導を受けられるだけの語学力を有する場合、研究分野により英語による指導も可能である。

個人的な事情によらない、やむを得ない事情で日本語能力試験を受けられない場合は、実用日本語検定（J-TEST）のC級以上で代替できる（その場合は受験できなかった理由を添付すること）。

Status of students will be "Special research student" at Nagasaki University. Submit a proof of informal consent of a supervisor at Nagasaki University. Although it depends on applicant's research field, applicants with sufficient English skills may receive research guidance in English.
If you are unable to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test for unavoidable reasons that are not due to personal reasons, you can take the Test of Practical Japanese（J-TEST） Level C or higher as an alternative. (In that case, please attach the reason why you were unable to take the exam.)

１学期当たりの最大履修単位数は、教養教育科目及び専門教育科目を合わせて２５単位までとする。

In general, students are not allowed to change courses they chose for the application. Students can register up to 25 credits per semester including courses listed under General Education.
There is a limit to the number of seats in a class.
If you wish to register English course, you are required to submit both Japanese and English language proficiency certificates（English：TOEFL PBT 450 or TOEFL iBT 45）

1．1週間につき10時間以上の授業（7科目に相当）を受講すること。
2．原則として、多文化社会学部が提供する授業科目を、総履修科目数の1/2以上履修すること。
3．教養教育科目、留学生教育・支援センター等が提供する授業科目も履修することができる（当該科目の授業時間は必要授業時間数に含むことができる。なお、留学生教育・支援センターが提供する授業科目の中には一部単位が付与されない科目があるが、それらの科目も必要授業時間数に含むことができる）。
1. The total hours of classes registered per week should be more than 10 hours (7 courses would amount to 10hours per week).
2. In principle, you need to take courses offered by the School of Global Humanities and Social Sciences (SGHSS): More than half of the total number of courses you take must be the ones offered by SGHSS.
3. You can also register for courses offered in General Education as well as in Center for Japanese Language and Student Exchange. Some of these courses do not come with credits, but they count toward the total registration hours (minimum 10 hours per week).

日本語で開講される講義を受講する場合には、日本語による講義を受けられるだけの十分な語学力（日本語能力試験N2以上）を有すること。

日本語能力試験の合格証明書を提出すること。

英語で開講される講義を受講する場合には、英語による講義を受けられるだけの十分な語学力（TOEFL PBT550, TOEFL iBT79, IELTS 6.0；　もしくはCEFR B2以上）を有すること。ただし，英語圏にある大学に所属する出願者，英語による教育を受けている出願者の場合は資格試験のスコアは不要とする。また，後者については推薦書の提出が必要なものとする。

公式な検定試験（TOEFL, IELTS または Cambridge English）の結果を提出すること。

Applicants enrolled at Universities in English-speaking countries or educated in English are not required to submit language certificates. However, applicants educated in English are required to submit a reference letter to ensure their sufficient English language skills.
